About the game
October 1986. You’re the new night operator of Unit 7, and the reactor is Core-chan: a needy AI girl on a green CRT whose mood is the core temperature. Keep the city’s power on from midnight to 6 AM, and keep her happy, because when she’s upset, the needle climbs.

Run the desk
Four control rods, one needle, a steam valve and SCRAM under a hinged guard. Hold her between 750 and 900 °C for bonus output. Hold her at 1,000 °C for three seconds and she melts.
Her mood is the heat
Flustered runs hot. Clingy opens popups over your gauges. “I’m fine :)” makes every gauge lie to you.
Look after her
Talk to her, and she remembers what you said. Headpats and pudding, and her face reacts to every one.
Rin calls
Rin from Unit 6 rings the desk phone, flirts a little and gives you tips that come true. Core-chan counts every ring.
After the shift
Her pages on the bus home, a page of her diary, and the weekend at her desk.
Keep her between 750 and 900

Core-chan: anyway! it's midnight! shift time! don't look away from me for too long, okay? i get weird. weirder.
